Student Policy
Dear Student and/or Parent:
For your convenience we will outline our studio policy. If you have any questions please feel free to ask us.
1. Lessons must be paid a month in advance on the first lesson of each month even if you have lesson credits owed to you. If it becomes necessary to bill you for lessons a $10.00 late fee will be assessed.
2. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. You may also pay by check or with cash. Please be aware that you will be assessed a $30.00 fee for any check returned to us by the bank along with any extra fees that the bank may assess.
4. Lessons are for 30, 45 and 60 minutes. Please understand that teachers must keep to a strict schedule in order to accommodate all their scheduled students. If you are late for any reason you will receive only your remaining time for that lesson. It would be unfair to the next student if you were to go over on your lesson. If for any reason a teacher is late the time will be made up to you in a fair and reasonable manner.
5. We require a 24 hour advance notice if a lesson is to be missed or rescheduled. You will be credited with the full price of the lesson if we are notified in advance. If we are not notified or if you call in late you will be charged for the missed lesson. Please make these arrangements through the front desk. If a teacher misses any lessons due to illness or professional work we will provide a substitute whenever possible. All policies and provisions will apply to the substitute.
7. It is important to keep all appointments to insure the best possible results for your private study. If lessons are continually cancelled you risk losing your chosen time.
8. We are closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We are open for lessons on all other holidays, winter break, spring break and summer vacation.
Sincerely,
The Canoga Music Staff
